Motorcycle Road Trip

Just got back late Sunday night after a 6 1/2 hour bike ride stopped only to get gas 3 times maybe a total of 30 min. Would have never made the long ride if not for my new mustang seat. I give it 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 just an awesome seat!! But anyway the ride was just Great! Rode some awesome back roads lots of twist and turns no traffic and for hours we had the roads to ourselves. The scenery was just breath taking rolling hills and mountains with live stock roaming of all kinds just spectacular views. Riding along the Mississippi was very very cool !!

The only down fall was I only got to snap a couple of pictures at the camp site and my camera gave out ! This totally sucked ! I guess since I lived it, I don't need pictures I got the memories lol... Oh well I'll bring a back up next time lol !

Gearing up for a motorcycle ride to Soldiers Grove Wis, With a bunch of friends this weekend for a scenic ride and camp out. Weather is looking good so far YA!

Soldiers Grove was first settled in 1856 by Joseph H. Brightman, who began a sawmill at the site to process logs rafted down the Kickapoo River. The village which sprang up near the sawmill was initially named "Pine Grove" because of the abundance of Eastern White Pine in the vicinity. In 1867, the name of the village was changed to "Soldiers Grove" to commemorate the troops who had camped in the area during the Black Hawk War.
